1.   Your contract with Events By Golfers

When you make a booking with, your contract is with Events By Golfers Limited, company number 09367647, with its registered office address at 44-46 Magdalen Road, Exeter, EX2 4TE.

By using and/or visiting the Site you agree to these General Terms and Conditions, the Terms of Use and Site Use and you expressly consent and agree to be bound by the Terms and all applicable laws and regulations that govern this Site and your booking.

Your package contract includes any travel arrangements that we make for you including your hotel stay, pre-arranged rounds of golf, transport and transfers and any other services that are stated on your booking confirmation.

This contract and any dispute, claim or other matter of any description which arises out of or in connection with this contract is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with English law. The Courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction to decide any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this contract. If you are a resident of Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may choose the law and jurisdiction of in Scotland or Northern Ireland instead.

2.   Making a booking

Bookings may be made over the telephone or by following the online booking procedures where applicable. You must be 18 years or over to make a booking and all bookings are subject to availability.

If you send us an enquiry using our Enquire Now service, we will acknowledge receipt of your enquiry as soon as possible and then telephone or email you with availability and any other details you require. For bookings made and paid for online, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of your booking request together with a booking reference by email.

After we have taken payment, we will then email you (or send by post, if requested) a booking confirmation, which will set out full details of your booking and show any remaining balance to be paid and the date by which it is due (note that full payment is usually taken at the time of booking for online bookings). For any type of booking, whether by telephone, by email or online, a contract between you and us will only exist when we issue the booking confirmation. Please check the booking confirmation carefully as soon as you receive it paying special attention to the room type and tee times when applicable. 

Group Bookings:

When you make a group booking, the lead name will be responsible for the entire booking. As lead name you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these Booking Conditions. The lead name will be responsible for making all payments due to us in accordance with the contract. The lead name is also responsible for keeping all members of his/her party informed as to the booking details and informing us in writing of any amendments to or cancellations of the booking.

3.   Confirmation

To confirm a booking, you must be authorised to make the booking by all persons named on the booking and their parent or guardian for all party members who are under 18 when the booking is made. By making the booking, you are confirming that all persons named on the booking accept the Terms and that you will inform the other persons named on the booking of the confirmation details and any other appropriate information. By making the booking you also become responsible for making all payments due under the booking. will confirm your booking and issue you with an email confirmation. will only deduct funds from your payment card when authorised to do so by you.

In the event that you call by telephone, or are called by regarding your booking, calls may be recorded for monitoring and training purposes. In the event of a dispute regarding a booking, reserves the right to review any call information. 

4.   Extras

Please note that all extra's consumed outside of what is advertised on the Site such as Food, Drink, Entertainment and Transport must be paid for by you and your booking with only includes the package set out in your confirmation email and invoice. We accept no liability for any charges you consume on site in relation to any extras outside of your package.

5.    Cancellations or amendments to bookings

You may modify or cancel your booking at any time prior to your arrival date by telephoning or emailing the offices, however cancellation or amendment fees may be charged. If you cancel your booking, you could be subject to a cancellation charge or in some cases the full cost of the product or service you have purchased. In any event, if you fail to cancel or amend your booking, you will be charged the full cost of the product or service.

If, for whatsoever reason, you do not turn up at the accommodation on the arrival date stated on your booking confirmation email, without at least 48 hours prior warning to, this shall be considered a cancellation and the accommodation provider may cancel your booking in full.

6.   Complaints

In the unlikely event you experience any problems or feel the need to complain during your break please inform the accommodation reception staff or management immediately, to enable them to take appropriate action. If the matter cannot be resolved locally, please contact Events By Golfers within 28 days of your stay and we will investigate your complaint. 

By proceeding to book accommodation and/or other services through the Site, you accept that you will be entering into a contract with the accommodation provider on their standard terms and conditions. If they are provided, we will endeavour (but undertake no liability to do so) to make copies of the accommodation provider's terms and conditions available to you.

7.   Force Majeure will not be liable for any changes, cancellation, effect on your booking, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure by the accommodation providers and/or to perform or properly perform any of our respective obligations to you which is due to any event(s) or circumstance(s) if the non performance is caused by force majeure. By way of example force majeure includes, but is not limited to, war, revolution, terrorist act, closure of borders, epidemic, natural catastrophe or other causes that seriously affect both parties and other unforeseeable causes beyond control.

8.   Insurance

You are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance prior to arriving at your destination. It is your responsibility to check you have adequate insurance cover. 

9.   Site content and documentation may modify the content of the Site and/or Terms at any time, and such modification shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified content and/or Terms on the Site and your continued use of or access to this website will be deemed to indicate your acceptance of the modified content and/or Terms.

Although all reasonable efforts have been made to ensure the accuracy of the information (including prices) in our brochures, on our website (, in our email newsletters and quotes, and in our promotional material and printed media, regrettably changes and errors occasionally occur. We will therefore confirm the details of your chosen break (including the price) at the time of booking.

10.   Terms of Use and Site Use

We have tested this website thoroughly and are always keen to improve our accessibility tools. We would like to know if you have found this website accessible or if you have had any problems. To the maximum extent permitted by law, disclaims all implied warranties with regard to the information, services and materials contained on this Site. All such information,  services and materials are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind.

11.   Site Use may suspend access to the website, due to maintenance works, net security reasons or force majeure with no obligation to reimburse or compensate you for the period in which access was suspended. Access to the Site is strictly controlled by and reserves the right to change, modify, substitute or suspend or remove without notice any information or service from time to time.

12.   Data Protection

In order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements, we need to use the personal information you provide such as name, address, and any special needs/dietary requirements etc. We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information and we will comply with the Data Protection Act 1998.
